Christmas 2010

    We did Christmas a little differently this year. My dad and Jason ended up working Christmas day so we had to change our schedule around a little bit. Instead of letting the girls get up on their own we got up VERY early before Jason had to leave to open our presents. The girls were extremely happy with Santa this year!
    Then the girls and I went to my mom's house to help her cook and waited for everyone to arrive. We normally do lunch around 1 but this year we opted to do dinner instead so those that were working would not miss out. It was hard for Jordyn and Makenzie to have to wait to open their presents but they survived and got tons of good stuff! I spent the next day putting away all of their gifts. Lucky girls! :)

They always get to open one present each on Christmas Eve.

Long and overdue Averie post!

This is really overdue but my last ultrasound was on 11/24/2010 to check how Averie was growing and the position of my placenta. All was well. I was told she weighed 3 lbs and that was at 28 weeks. Here are a couple of pictures. She did not want to cooperate very well as she was head down and facing my spine so the pictures are not that great. We had to work at getting her to turn around. These are not the best quality as I took a picture of them rather than scanning them. But they work just the same, you get the idea. :)

 Here is some info based on my last appointment:

How far along? 32 Weeks
Sleep: I get some but I am constantly having to use the bathroom during the night.
Movement: Everyday!
Labor Signs: Just the Braxton Hicks contractions.
What I miss: Sleeping on my tummy.
Doctor Appointment: 12/20/2010 - She is now breech. She has been head down since week 28 and now decides to turn. We’ll see what she is doing at the next appointment. Hopefully she is head down again! I also scheduled all of my remaining appointments. I start going in weekly on January 19^th.


Next appointment: 01/05/2011

I have also been getting some great baby stuff from friends and family, which I really appreciate!

Homemade beanies, blanket, booties, etc.

Swing, bath tub, pillow pet and a laundry basket full of baby clothes that is not pictured.
